MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- A Memphis teen has been killed and his friend was charged after the two were playing with a gun.
Police said in a statement that 17-year-old Kiwane Johnson was pronounced dead Saturday at the Regional Medical Center. Police say an investigation determined that Johnson and a 15-year-old friend were playing with the gun when it fired and struck the older teen.
The younger teen was charged with reckless homicide.
