KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Knox Co. Grand Jury indicted a mother and her boyfriend on charges stemming from the death of an 18 month-old toddler on earlier this month.

Brittany Stinnett and her boyfriend Danny Jay Branam, Jr. face felony murder charges following the death of Brooklyn Stinnett. Stinnett, 22, also faces one count of Child Neglect, while 23 year-old Branam was charged with Aggravated Child Abuse.

Authorities arrested Stinnett on Wednesday, while Branam was already behind bars on unrelated charges. They are each being held on $500,000 bond.

Brooklyn died a few days after being rushed to UT Medical Center responding to reports she was unresponsive and not breathing.
