Money and drugs seized during Morristown search warrant

MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (WVLT) -- After months of investigating, two people were arrested during a search warrant at a home on Silver Fox Trail Monday night.

Police say they found $15,000 in cash, marijuana, Xanax, and potentially illegal steroids.

Officers say if sold, the 2.5 pounds of marijuana could have a street value of up to $12,000.

26-year-old Lazaro Galaban-Brocard was arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule VI (marijuana) for sale, Possession of Schedule III (steroids), Possession of Schedule IV (Xanax), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

19-year-old Broderick Olden was cited for Simple Possession of Schedule VI and Possession of Schedule III.

MPD Chief Roger Overholt stated, “The Morristown Police Department’s Narcotics/ Vice and K-9 Units will continue to seek prosecution against individuals who choose to sale illegal drugs in our community. This operation demonstrates the officers’ commitment to taking drugs off the streets of Morristown."
