Morristown Shell robbed at gunpont; suspects on the run

MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Investigators are searching for two men involved in an armed robbery at a Morristown Shell station Monday morning.

According to the Morristown Police Dept., one of the men walked into the gas station, 1104 South Cumberland Avenue, pulled out a silver handgun and demanded money. Another man waited outside while the first suspect was inside and both of them may have taken off in a black or navy Saturn, heading west on Lincoln Ave.

The first suspect was described as around six feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a green jacket with a hoodie and his face was partially covered with a white pillowcase or sheet.

The other suspect is a little shorter, about 5'8", also with a medium build. He was wearing jeans, a dark jacket, and may have been wearing a knit cap.
