NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Department of Correction says an inmate briefly escaped from a minimum security prison in Nashville, but has been captured.

Twenty-year-old Anthony Walker scaled a fence the Charles Bass Correctional Complex around 1 a.m. on Friday morning. Walker, who is from the Murfreesboro area, was serving a 12-year sentence for charges of theft, burglary and attempted aggravated child abuse and neglect.

The department said in a news release that Walker was found later on Friday walking along the railroad tracks within a two-mile radius of the facility. He was taken to Riverbend Maximum Security Institution and suffered minor injuries during the escape.
