Oak Ridge man arrested for sexual battery on 12 year-old

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A 37 year-old Oak Ridge man faces charges of Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Sexual Battery following a reported attack on a 12 year-old girl.

According to Oak Ridge Police, the 12 year-old gave two consistent statements in which she alleged Armando Lopez told her to go into a storage building to get trash for him. While in the shed, the girl claims Lopez touched her buttocks.

The girl tried running away, but says Lopez caught up with her and carried her back to the shed, locking her in while he "kissed" and fondled the 12 year-old.

Lopez is being held on $150,000 bond.

It's bad enough to commit such a crime against a 12 year old girl let alone it being another hispanic (mexican) getting into trouble! I'm willing to bet that he's also in the country as an illegal. Our government needs to do something about this continuing problem before we all have to learn spanish just to order a hamburger!
