Oak Ridge police investigate death that followed reports of gunfire

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- An Oak Ridge man died in his home early Monday morning, according to the Oak Ridge Police Dept. Authorities identified the him as 22 year-old Antonio J. Phillips.

Officers were called to the home on Villanova Road shortly before 1:00 a.m. and they found Phillips shot. EMS crews tried treating him, but Phillips was pronounced dead at the scene.

Phillips' death is still under investigation and officials expect to provide more information at a later time.
