KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville police investigating an overnight shooting in East Knoxville that sent one man to the hospital.

According to reports, officers were called to an address on W. Sunset Rd. on reports of a shooting around 2:45 a.m. Friday morning. When they got there they found a man who shot at least once, though investigators are still trying to determine where the shooting took place.

The victim was taken to UT Medical Center with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries. Police said he has been uncooperative and does not want anyone prosecuted for his injuries.
