Party-mom Leslie Janous on "America's Most Wanted" site

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Knoxville mom, who lived lavishly off millions she stole and who is now said to be on the run from the FBI, is being featured on "America's Most Wanted" website.

"America's Most Wanted" website says 36-year-old Leslie Janous frequents gay bars, likes nice things and may be flush with cash that she stole from her former employer.

Janous was out on bail awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty in February to wire fraud and money laundering after being accused of stealing more than $4 million from precious-metals brokerage firm Scancarbon. Authorities said she failed to return home on April 18.

The Associated Press reports that the FBI has been stepping up efforts to find Janous, placing billboards in seven states and contacting "America's Most Wanted."
