KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Knoxville teen was stabbed during an argument between two women late Wednesday night, according to the Knoxville Police Dept. Authorities believe the two women were arguing over a man.
Authorities said they are still investigating the attack. Investigators believe the two women were arguing outside a home on Texas Ave. when one of them went inside the house and grabbed a knife. The victim was cut in the hand and in the side.
The 17 year-old took off after being cut and approached a group of people near the intersection of Stonewall and Texas Ave., who called for help. Police responded shortly after 10:30 p.m. and the victim was taken to UT Medical Center. They added the injuries don't appear to be life threatening.
