KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police have located the boyfriend of a Knoxville woman who they say stabbed the boyfriend of the woman's daughter early Tuesday morning.
The suspect, Teddy Wayne Neff, 40, was arrested around 9:30 a.m. at a business on Middlebrook Pike, according to a Knoxville Police spokesperson. He was charged with Domestic Assault, Aggravated Assault, and Theft and is being held on $15,000 bond.
Investigators believe Neff attacked the victim, Kipling Scroggs, 34, with a box cutter after becoming upset over how long Scroggs had been staying at the home, 2415 Truman Ave., where both the mother and daughter live.
Scroggs was taken to UT Medical Center with what authorities described as non-life-threatening injuries.
