Police: Quartet ransacks home, victim left on floor for hours

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police are looking for four people who kicked in the door and ransacked the home of a Knoxville man Tuesday morning.

The suspects entered the home around three this morning on Coker Avenue. They threatened to kill him if he did not give them his money and then beat him.

The victim could not reach a phone and was left alone in his living room until a neighbor came to check on him at 11. The victim was then taken to UT Hospital. We don't know his condition.
