Police identify body found in Blount Co. fire, call death a homicide

LOUISVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Authorities are calling the death of a sixty year-old woman in Blount Co. a homicide. Investigators found Dilrea Sue Lett's body while investigating a fire at a Louisville home.

Police are still searching for James Howard Harmon, Jr., 43, in connection with the fire and Lett's death. Harmon, whose last known address was in Powell, may be driving a 1999 white Chrysler Sebring with Tennessee plates and heavy hail damage.

Anyone with information about Harmon's whereabouts is asked to call wither the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation during normal business hours at 273-5001 or the anonymous 24-hour crime hotline at 273-5200.

Lett's body was found after firefighters were called to the home, 803 E. Cumberland Dr., around 1:30 a.m. on Monday. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
