Police looking for man who robbed hotel with scissors

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police have released a description of the man they say robbed a Sevierville hotel with a pair of scissors in early July.

Shortly after midnight on July 1, authorities said, he held the scissors to a clerk's neck and demanded money. He grabbed the loot and took off out the back door.

The suspect was described as a white man in his twenties, about 5'10" with a slender athletic build and a tan. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a long-sleeved blue and white collared shirt, dark blue jeans, and black gloves. He may have been driving a older white car that had some damage on its right side.
