KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knoxville Police Dept. has identified a suspect in the shooting in Western Heights early Monday morning. KPD spokesperson Darrell DeBusk said a Second Degree Murder warrant has been issued for Corryance Eugene Bennett.
Reports indicate Bennett and the victim, Marvin Walker were arguing over a drug deal when Walker was shot multiple times.
Police describe the 18 year-old Bennett as a black man, standing about 5'10", and weighing 220 lbs.; with short, curly, black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was on Lay Ave. Bond on the warrant was set at $700,000.
