Police search for man who robbed n. Knoxville Walgreens

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Investigators are still searching for the person behind a robbery at a north Knoxville Walgreen's late Monday morning.

According to a Knoxville Police Dept. spokesperson, a man walked into the drug store, 2400 N. Broadway, shortly after 10:30 a.m. He approached the pharmacy and handed the clerk a note indicating he had a gun and demanding pills. The suspect grabbed a small amount of pills and fled.

The suspect was described as a white man, in his late 20's to early 30's, about 5' 9" - 5' 11", weighing around 160 lbs. He had blonde or brown hair and blue eyes and was wearing a black zip-up hoodie.

    If we only knew how many people were affected by this addiction. May we as in other counties pray for our people. The Lord Jesus is their only help.
