One charged in early morning robbery, 2 still on run

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville police say one man is in custody and two are on the run after an armed robbery shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The sixteen year-old they caught was questioned and charged with one count of Aggravated Robbery. He was taken to the Juvenile Detention Facility.

According to the victim, three men approached him in the 3000 block of Magnolia Avenue and asked for a cigarette. Before he could respond, one of the them pulled out a weapon and demanded money.

The investigation is ongoing.

    Where are the parents? A 16 year old doesn't have any business being out at 1:30 am. I can safely say I know where my son is at 1:30, in bed where he should be.
