Kevin Johnson, 37, is wanted for allegedly stabbing a man at his home in s. Knox Co. late Thursday night.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police are searching for a man believed to be involved in a stabbing in southeast Knox Co. late Thursday night.
Thirty-seven year-old Kevin Johnson, 5628 Magazine Rd., is accused of stabbing another man at his home on Holbert Lane shortly before midnight. The victim, Brian Fuller, told police Johnson came to his home to talk about a car part he was supposed to bring over.
According to Fuller, that's when Johnson pulled out a hunting knife and stabbed him in the upper left arm. Fuller told investigators he retreated into his home and grabbed a gun. When he went went back outside, Johnson was still in his front yard and walking toward Fuller's home.
Fuller said he fired three shots into the air, scaring Johnson off.
Fuller was then taken to UT Medical Center where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released.
There is now a warrant on file for Kevin Johnson for Aggravated Assault with a Knife. Johnson has a history of driving violations and Evading Arrest with THP.
Kevin Johnson is a 37 year old white male. He is 5'10", 200 pounds, and of medium build. He has brown eyes and brown hair. Anyone with information is asked to call the Knox County Sheriff’s Office at 215-2243.
