Repeat Offender Squad search warrant nets crack, marijuana, pills

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A search warrant served at a north Knoxville apartment complex turned up crack cocaine, marijuana, pills, and a couple guns and leads to charges against four people, according to Knoxville Police spokesperson Darrell DeBusk.

Three people were arrested following the search at Tanglewood Apartments. Nicholas Baker, who lives at the complex, was charged with Possession Schedule II for Resale, Simple Possession Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Manufacture, Delivery, and Sale or Possession of Cocaine. The 21 year-old is being held on $18,000 bond.

Delisha Brown, who lives with Baker, faces charges of Possession Schedule II for Resale, Simple Possession Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Manufacture, Delivery, Sale or Possession of Schedule II. She is being held on $7,000 bond.

Vincent Deante Edkis, 20 was cited for Simple Possession Marijuana, while Donald Stinson, Jr., 52, was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

DeBusk said officers seized a quantity of crack cocaine, quantity of marijuana, Diazepam 5 and 10 mg pills, $352.00 cash, digital scales, 1 Charter Arms .38 cal. Rev., .38 cal. Ammo, and a cell phone. The warrant was served by KPD's Repeat Offender Squad.
