SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Sevier Co. Sheriff's Office is searching for the man authorities said robbed a Sevierville discount store at knifepoint shortly before 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
According to Sheriff Ron Seals, the man burst Dollar General brandishing a knife and demanding money. The clerk gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber reportedly took off in a white medium-sized SUV.
The man was described as being about six feet tall, between 250 and 275 lbs., and wearing a blue sweatshirt, Khaki pants, and a navy blue scarf over his face. He also had on a two-toned hat with writing on the front and side.
