LaFOLLETTE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A school bus driver was among three people arrested over the weekend as the Campbell Co. Sheriff's Office responded to several citizens' complaints., according to Sheriff Robbie K. Goins.
“We take complaints and concerns from citizens very seriously and appreciate the public’s help, input and information," said Sheriff Robbie K. Goins. "I am surely pleased that we were able to get drugs off the streets and keep them out of the hands of our community’s young people."
The bus driver Melissa M. Poston, 41, and Christopher O. Crabtree, 35, were both charged with Felony Possession of Schedule 6 for resale and Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after a search of their home, 710 S. 15th Street, turned up nearly 2 lbs. of a substance the sheriff's office believes is marijuana.
They also arrested Bobby Giles, 60, who lives at a home on 307 Forks Grove Road, for Felony Possession of Schedule 6 and Failing to Signal while in Travel. He was arrested during a traffic stop at the above-mentioned address.
Sheriff Goins also said more than $2,000 was seized during the arrests as well as 2 vehicles, including a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer and a 2005 Toyota Rav 4.
