SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Former Smoky Bears basketball player Devin Schmidt,18, is in trouble with the law again.
Police arrested Schmidt Tuesday morning and charged him with burglary.
According to police, the teen is accused of breaking into Sevierville Middle School Sunday afternoon.
Police said a teacher inside the school heard a noise around 4 p.m. and called police.
Investigators reviewed the school's surveillance video and confirmed Schmidt was inside the school.
This is the second time the Sevier County basketball player has been arrested. Last month, he was charged with domestic assault.
Schmidt remains at the Sevier County Jail.
According to authorities, he will be taken to Jefferson Couny for a bond hearing Wednesday morning because Sevier County Judges have recused themselves from the case.
