CLAXTON, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says a sixth person has been arrested in a gang-related attempted murder and conspiracy case.

Cynthia Ann Wright, 40, of Strawberry Plains, was cuffed Thursday at her home in Jefferson County.

She's charged with Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, two counts of Tampering with Evidence, and Accessory After the Fact. She's being held on $100,000 bond.

Investigators say they received indictments from the Anderson County Grand Jury on the six individuals for the beating of a 31-year-old Briceville man on Dennis Lane in Claxton in December of 2013.

Deputies say all six suspects are members of the Aryan Nations gang.

The District Attorney General’s Office will seek enhanced penalties since the offenders are members of a criminal gang.
