KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The suspect in a stabbing late Thursday night has turned himself in to authorities, the Knox Co. Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday morning.
Thirty-seven year-old Kevin Johnson, 5628 Magazine Rd., is accused of stabbing another man at his home on Holbert Lane shortly before midnight. The victim, Brian Fuller, told police Johnson came to his home to talk about a car part he was supposed to bring over.
According to Fuller, that's when Johnson pulled out a hunting knife and stabbed him in the upper left arm. Fuller told investigators he retreated into his home and grabbed a gun. When he went went back outside, Johnson was still in his front yard and walking toward Fuller's home.
Fuller said he fired three shots into the air, scaring Johnson off.
Fuller was then taken to UT Medical Center where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released.
Johnson is being held for Aggravated Assault on a $5,000 appearance bond, the sheriff's office's website said.
