Student arrested for bringing gun to school

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- A South Doyle High School student was arrested Monday for bringing a gun to school.

According to a parent, the principal sent out a message that a school officer noticed a student acting suspicious. When the student was searched, the officer found a gun on him.

The school was not under any threat. It's unclear why the student brought the gun to school.
