Suspect arrested in Sevier Co. wanted for homicide in Texas

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- What began as an arrest on a domestic violence charge blossomed into much more for authorities in Sevierville. An initial records check indicated Alex Estuardo Ramierez was wanted on a homicide charge in Texas.

The Sevier Co. Sheriff's Office said it confirmed the charge against the 41 year-old on Thursday afternoon.

Ramierez was initially arrested Wednesday night after police responded to a 911 hang up call around 9:00 p.m. He was taken to Sevier County Jail for booking.

I have know problem with mexicans that want to work but if they like the US then do it legal. I am a senior citizen I get SSD which I paid into all my life I pay all my bills every month I have $24.00 at the end of each month for food, I went DHS and ask for food stamps, and while I was there the lobby was full with mexicans with children, I was told that I could receive $12.00 a month in food stamps. Why are we paying taxes and everything else for them when they can go to our local agency for help and they get it. PLEASE HELP ME TO UNDERSTANDY.
