Suspect wanted for Fort Sanders murder captured

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Authorities have captured the second suspect wanted for the murder of a 19 year-old man in Fort Sanders back in October. Knoxville Police Dept. spokesperson Darrell DeBusk announced the arrest of Jaron Harris late Friday afternoon.

The 18 year-old was picked up around 4:40 p.m.near the intersection of Sutherland Ave and Tobler, DeBusk said. He was wanted on charges of Felony Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder, Aggravated Robbery, Especially Aggravated Kidnapping, and two counts of Attempted Aggravated Robbery.

Another suspect, Devin Jamison, was arrested at a home on Parkview about a week after the October 13th shooting. He faces six charges, including Felony Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder, Aggravated Robbery, Especially Aggravated Kidnapping, and two counts of Attempted Aggravated Robbery.

He was also charged with an additional count of robbery from a separate incident on Hembree Steet on the same day.

Authorities believe Webb was shot and killed during a robbery attempt at the Grand Forest apartments. Another victim, Crestus Roser, 21, was shot in the leg.
