MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Just two days ago, Nathan McCollum made the state's Top Ten Most Wanted list, but now he's back behind bars.
US Marshals and the Great Smoky Mountain Fugitive Task Force arrested Nathan McCollum early Thursday morning at a home on Goodson Street in Morristown.
McCollum was wanted for violating his probation, attempted aggravated kidnapping and numerous other charges. Earlier this month, he removed a GPS device after being released from a drug treatment facility in Alabama.
Those living on the street where McCollum was captured said they can't believe he was hiding in their neighborhood.
"You never know what could happen in the neighborhood you know, when you have someone like that . So it's good to know they got him before he did anything or hurt anyone," said James Nicely.
McCollum is being held without bond in the Sevier County jail.
