SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Tennessee Highway Patrol needs your help to find a driver involved in a pursuit in Sevier County on Sunday, June 9. The chase happened on Highway 440 through Sevierville 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday.
THP investigators received information on a stolen 2009 Toyota minivan, then spotted it in Sevierville. Troopers tried to pull the driver over, but he took off.
Investigators believe person driving that minivan was David Raymond Smith, 30. Smith has an extensive criminal history, and is believed to be living in various motels in the Knoxville area.
Smith is facing 26 charges stemming from the June 9 chase.
