KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Knoxville man was arrested in the cab allegedly called to take him from a home he just robbed to a place where he could dump the merchandise, according to the Knox Co. Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office said they had been investigating David Henderson for months for burglary and outstanding warrants when an officer spotted him outside a gold store on Magnolia. They added he was arrested within an hour of two home burglaries.
After being arrested, 28 year-old reportedly admitted to at least ten burglaries so far in the north and east Knox Co. He has been charged with two counts of aggravated burglary and one count of theft. He's being held in the Knox Co. Detention Facility on $31,000 bond.
Authorities said they have recovered thousands of dollars of jewelry and electronics.
