BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn.(submitted)--Thirty-five people arrested in Task Force drug round-up

May of 2011 marked the end of a lengthy investigation into the illegal sale of Crack Cocaine and prescription drugs in Blount County.

During the early morning hours of Thursday May 05, 2011 investigators with the Fifth Judicial Drug and Violent Crime Task Force briefed other agencies on the recent undercover investigation. Shortly after the briefing investigators were assisted by officers of Maryville Police Department, Alcoa Police Department and Deputies with the Blount County Sheriff’s Office set out to apprehend
41 people in Blount County for 109 drug related charges.

The charges were the result of 15 Crack Cocaine buys, 2 Cocaine buys, 26 Oxycodone buys, 7 Opana buys, 13 Morphine buys, 3 Hydrocodone buys, 2 Alprazalam buys, and one buy of a legend drug which is a controlled substance but not scheduled.

Nearly twenty vehicles were used by the sellers to facilitate the drug transactions. Investigators said that they have already filed for forfeiture on four of the vehicles following recent operations and will be searching for five more. The remainder of them will be seized pending further investigation.

By late afternoon Thursday, warrants had been served on 356 individuals There names and charges are as follows:

1. William Lamar Allen, 53, Wright Road, Maryville, Delivery of a Schedule III controlled substance.

2. Edward Lacy Baird, 37, Sundial Lane, Seymour, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance.

3. Bobbie Jo Beeler, 43, Pinewood Drive, Maryville, four counts Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, one count Delivery of a Schedule III controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance.

4. Rudolph Miller Brooks, 61, Old Knoxville Pike, Maryville, four counts of Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, one count of maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance.

5. Tiffany Nichole Clegg, 24, Knoxville, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

6. Timothy Charles Clowers, 26, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

7. James Travis Cooper, 28, West Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, Sale of a Schedule II controlled substance.

8. Connie Rosetta Gourley, 36, Ellejoy Road, Walland, Delivery of a Schedule IV controlled substance.

9. Troy Rashad Hodge, West Watt Street, Alcoa, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

10. Donna Wood Jenkins, 65, Pinewood Drive, Maryville, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance, two counts of Sale of a Schedule II controlled substance.

11. Gary Manuel Johnson, 53, South Dogwood Drive, Maryville, three counts Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance.

12. Crystal Dawn Josey, 29, Wayne Circle, Maryville, two counts of Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

13. Janet Sue Josey, 51, Rule Street, Maryville, two counts of Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

14. William Cordell Kemp, 28, Wayne Circle, Maryville, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance with the intent to resell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

15. Donald Ray King, 43, Monroe Avenue, Maryville, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance.

16. Fredrick Arnold McMahan, 47, Eagleton Road, Maryville, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

17. Keenan Scott McNeal, 35, Madison Avenue, Maryville, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

18. James Allen Maranville, 61, West Lamar Alexander Parkway, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, Conspiracy to sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance.

19. Janet Irene Morgan, 40, Irwin Avenue, Maryville, two counts of Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance.

20. Joshua David Morgan, 24, Irwin Avenue, Maryville, attachment for contempt.

21. Cory Lee Nelson, 24, Zelmer Lane, Maryville, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

22. Stephanie Lynne Nelson, 23, Zelmer Lane, Maryville, maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance, two counts of Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, and one count of fraud.

23. Ronald Daniel Osborne, 23, Louisville Road, Louisville, three counts of Sale of a Schedule II controlled substance.

24. Debra Cotter Owens, 59, manufacturing of a Schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance.

25. Penny Sue Palmer, 47, Old Knoxville Pike, Maryville, two counts of Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance.

26. Lolita Marie Pelfrey, 47, West Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, three counts of Sale of a Schedule II controlled substance
27. Carla Jean Powers, 42, Edgewood Avenue, Knoxville, 42, Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with the intent to resell.

28. James Michael Russell, 42, Vinegar Valley Road, Friendsville, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance with intent to resell.

29. Bunnie Kaye Scalf, 39, Middle Street, Maryville, two counts of Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, Sale of a Schedule II controlled substance, Sale of a Schedule VI controlled substance, and maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance.

30. Jason Taharin Sudderth, 32, North Everett High Road, Maryville, four counts of Sale of a Schedule II controlled substance.

31. Dennis Lee Thomas, 41, Irwin Avenue, Maryville, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

32. Sam Franklin Vance, 38, Middle Street, Maryville, Sale of a Schedule II controlled substance, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, and maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance.

33. John Russell Walker, Jr., 25, Pennsylvania Avenue, Maryville, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

34. Corey Nicholas Williams, 24, Patrick Avenue, Maryville, Sale of a Schedule II controlled substance.

35. Fawna Rae Wolf, 24, Oak Hill Drive, Maryville, manufacturing of a Schedule VI controlled substance (marijuana), maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance.

In addition, the following individuals have warrants on file:

• Melanie Ann Burns, 48, five counts of Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling a controlled substance.

• Eric Joseph Morgan, 19, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

• Douglas Elwood Emmerson, 27, two counts Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

• Ashley Kay Moyers, 21, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

• James Thomas McNish, 27, Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

• Timber Jeanette Rhea, 27, theft of property.

• John Wayne Stephenson, II, 29, three counts Delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.
