Trio arrested following Sevier Co. arsons

SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Three Cocke Co. men were arrested in connection with a pair of structure fires in Sevier Co. back in March, the Sevier County Sheriff's Dept. announced on Friday.

Issac D. Brandon, Jacob Gillespie, and Jacob Thigpen each face two counts of Arson and Burglary in Sevier Co. stemming from a fire on Jones Cove Rd. on March 30 and one on Gatlin Rd. the next night. They are also accused of for setting fires in Cocke Co.

The three men were rounded up on Thursday following a joint investigation by the Sevier Co. Sheriff's Office, the Cocke Co. Sheriff's Dept., the Gatlinburg Fire Dept, and the State Bomb and Arson Unit.

Thigpen and Gillespie are being held in the Cocke Co. Jail on $50,000 bond, while Brandon was booked into Sevier Co. Jail.
