Two arrested for stealing from vehicle at transmission shop

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two people were arrested on Monday, accused of stealing from a vehicle parked at a transmission shop in the 300 block of Northshore, according to the Knoxville Police Dept.

Forty-three year-old Larry Holmes and Joshua Grant. 22, have been charged with Vehicle Burglary and Theft.

Authorities learned of the burglary at the Budget Transmission around 9:19 a.m. After learning the suspect's vehicle may belong to someone who lives on Agnes Rd., two officers spotted the vehicle hidden at a home there.

Searching the home, officers reportedly found some of the items that were stolen.
