SEVIERVILLE, Tenn/ (WVLT) -- Two women have been charged with helping two escaped inmates while authorities were searching for them last Thursday, Sevier Co. Sheriff Ron Seals announced on Monday.
Becky May Davis, 24, was arrested near her home on Creek Bend Way in Kodak. She is accused of picking up Roy Herron and Tommy Kitts after they escaped and drove them to Knoxville. She was charged with Aiding & Abetting Jail Escape and is being held on $7,500 bond and is awaiting a hearing.
Addie P. Reed, 40, was arrested Monday at a home in Pigeon Forge. She was also charged with Aiding & Abetting Jail Escape and is free on $25,000 bond.
Seals also said that he expects more people to be arrested in connection with the escape and anyone who helped the prisoners while they were on the lam will face felony charges.
