KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Investigators are still collecting evidence and trying to find the suspect involved in an early morning shooting in west Knoxville, according to KPD's Public Information Officer Darrell DeBusk.

Justin Nicely, 29, was shot in in the arm at the Cedar Springs Apartments around 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning, explained DeBusk. He added Investigators are still conducting interviews and continue to collect evidence related to the shooting.

The suspect had taken off by the time officers arrived. He was reportedly wearing a white hooded jacket and blue jeans at the time of the shooting.

Nicely was rushed to UT Medical Center.
