W.Va. woman sought for killing husband caught in Tennessee

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Authorities say a West Virginia woman sought in the abduction of her young daughter and charged with killing her husband has been apprehended in Tennessee.

Mingo County sheriff's department process server Dave Justice says Crystal Seigler Clark and her 13-month-old daughter are in the custody of the U.S. marshal's service in Jackson County, Tenn.

Justice said Thursday it's unclear whether Clark turned herself in or was arrested. Details weren't immediately available. A call to the marshal's service wasn't immediately returned.

Sheriff's Chief James Smith said police obtained a warrant charging the 32-year-old Clark with first-degree murder. A neighbor discovered the body of her husband, David Clark, on Tuesday at their home in Varney.

An Amber Alert had been issued Tuesday night for the couple's daughter, Chloe Clark.
