Wartburg police recover stolen items and make two arrests

The Wartburg Police Department is a small department. They're proving size has nothing to do with handling a big task. Just recently, the department made their biggest bust, yet.

"For the last three days we've just been recovering stolen property," said Wayne Potter.

From a guitar to TV's and even a toddler's bed - hundreds of items packed a small room in the police headquarters.

"We've been real successful on getting things back," said Potter.

Investigators say the two behind it all, Doug Laymance and Latisha Bingham.

"As of right now we're looking at three counties - it could be more," said Steve Cochran.
