Youth indicted in killing of shop owner in Milan

TRENTON, Tenn. (AP) -- A West Tennessee teenager has been indicted in the killing of Milan muffler shop owner Charlie Reagan.

A grand jury in Gibson County returned charges of first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery on Tuesday against 17-year-old Victor Thompson after his case was transferred to adult court in June.

A telephone message was left at the Gibson County Jail on Thursday, seeking information about whether Thompson has an attorney.

He was scheduled for arraignment Thursday in Gibson County Circuit Court, according to The Jackson Sun.

A customer found Reagan's body in a service bay on June 16 and called police, who said Reagan's wallet was missing. Authorities say Reagan had been fatally stabbed.
