It's getting to be warmer outside and the perfect treat to cool down is ice cream, right?
Well, not so perfect when you're trying to watch what you're eating or maybe you're trying to cut your sugar intake. This recipe will help out with that. By substituting almond milk for cream and cacao powder, it's a protein packed version of the sweet treat.
What you need:
3 Bananas, frozen
1/2 tbsp Cacao powder
1 tbsp Almond butter
1/2 tbsp Cacao nibs or mini chocolate chips
1/4 cup Chocolate unsweetened almond-milk
Peel bananas and add them to the food processor or blender
Add all other ingredients and puree together
Let sit in the freezer for an hour and serve.
