KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- One one restaurant failed its inspection this week, according to the Knox Co. Health Dept., in our look Behind the Kitchen Door.
Lotus Garden, 460 Cedar Bluff, was given a 66 after inspectors found fried chicken, egg rolls, pork noodles, shrimp and liquid eggs all at unsafe temperatures. They also found a dented can of pineapple chunks, a spoon stored in stagnant water, and dishes not scraped before washing.
On the other side of the coin, though, four restaurants scored above 90:
Dawgz Rule, 7521 Munsey Rd., 94
City Blends, 8511 Walbrook, 95
Twisters Diner, 5831 Washington Pike, 97
Snappy Tomato Pizza, 5908 Washington Pike, 99
