KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Three restaurants failed their inspection this week, according to the Knox Co. Health Dept., in our look Behind the Kitchen Door.
Kentucky Fried Chicken, 6711 Clinton Highway, scored a 60. Inspectors said they noticed a can dented at the seal, toxic chemicals, and build-up on equipment.
Little Ceasar's Pizza. 2800 Magnolia Ave., was given a 67 after inspectors found pizzas stored at an unsafe temperature, build-up on equipment, and toxic chemicals, as well as pizza boxes upside-down on chemical shelving.
Hardee's, 3718 Western Ave., earned a 67, when inspectors discovered buns at unsafe temperature, a cook not washing their hands, and dirty equipment and floors.
On the other side of the coin, seven restaurants scored ninety or higher this week, including:
