KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Three restaurants failed their inspections this week, according tot he Knox Co. Health Dept., in our look Behind the Kitchen Door.
Rouxbarb, 130 S. Northshore Dr., earned a 42 after inspectors found salmon, deviled eggs, chicken, mac and cheese, pork, ribs, and beef brisket all at unsafe temperatures. An employee was seen not washing their hands and toxic chemicals were out.
Northshore Brasserie, 9430 S. Northshore Dr., was given a 66 after an inspector saw an employee not wash their hands, bread was left on the floor, employees' coats were blocking a handsink, and toxic chemicals were out.
Finally, Anaba Japanese, 6405 S. Northshore Dr., earned a 69 when inspectors found fruit flies, sanitizer low on chlorine, and a waste water leak.
