Broccoli with Rice Friday, October 4, 2013


A Stella Parton recipe from State Fairs and Church Bazaars

1 small onion, chopped
1 TBSP butter
1 cup instant rice
2 packages chopped broccoli
1 can cream of chicken soup
½ cup milk
1 cup cheese, grated


Preheat oven to 350 deg. Saute onion in butter. Add instant rice and cook a little with the butter and onion. Add broccoli (cooked and drained), soup, milk and cheese. Bake for 1 hour.
