Ingredients

4 TBSP butter
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 TBSP all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup corn syrup (light, dark or mixed)
3/ eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup corn meal
1 9-inch pie shell

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 deg. Cream the butter, sugar, flour and salt until smooth. Add the corn syrup, eggs and vanilla then fold in corn meal. Pour into pie shell and bake 45 to 50 minutes or until firm to the touch.
