Cranberry Sauce with Pears Wednesday, November 20, 2013
1 12 oz bag fresh cranberries, washed and picked over for bad ones
1 cup sugar
zest of one orange
½ cup water
2 pears (your favorite variety), peeled and cubed
Mix cranberries, sugar, orange zest and water. Place over medium heat until the cranberries pot (yes, they will pop) and mixture boils and thickens. While still hot, stir in pears. Allow to cool and chill before serving.
