Biscuits with Ham and Cheese Friday, May 27, 2011 First at 4
3 cups self rising flour
1 ½ to 1 ¾ cups milk
1/3 cup canola oil
1 cup chopped country ham, cooked
1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
Mix flour, milk and cooking oil to make a batter which will just hold its shape. Stir in cheese and country ham. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 deg until brown (about 12 to 15 minutes). Serve hot.
