Chocolate Brownie Pie September 14, 2011


1 21 oz brownie mix
2 eggs
½ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup water
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 9 inch unbaked deep dish pie shell


Mix brownie mix, eggs, oil and water. Beat by hand until well blended. Stir in chips and pour into pie shell. Bake about 40 to 45 minutes at 350 deg. Cool completely before serving.

Please note: Use the brownie mix you like. This is good made with a mix that has nuts or one that does not. There are a great variety of mixes out there and experiment to find the kind you like best. I think that it would probably work with the new gluten free brownie mixes but I have not tried. To do that, you would put the batter into a lightly greased pie pan WITHOUT the crust which is certainly NOT gluten free.
