Chewy Chocolate Cookies (from Reese’s Peanut Butter Chip bag) Friday, October 14, 2011


2 cups plain flour
¾ cup cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 ½ sticks butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 10 oz bag Reese’s peanut butter chips


Mix all dry ingredients. In mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients, beating well. Stir in Peanut butter chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonsful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 or 9 minutes. Cool slightly before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Please Note: Do not over bake. They will puff up while baking and will then settle as they cool. These come out of the oven very soft and need to cool before you move them or they will fall apart.
