6 chicken drumsticks (with skin on or off)
½ cup all purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
2 TBSP water
2 cups Italian seasoned panko crumbs
Place three flat bowls in a row. Place flour in first, eggs with water beaten in in second and crumbs in the third. Roll drumsticks in flour to coat. Roll drumsticks in flour, then dip in egg mixture and then in crumbs to coat. Place on a rack over a baking sheet with sides. Place into a 375 deg preheated oven and bake about 20 to 25 minutes or until brown. Serve hot, warm or cold.
If you prefer, use whole wheat crackers which have been crumbled fine into the third dish instead of panko and proceed as above.
