Baked Chicken with Well Seasoned Crust Wednesday, June 20, 2012


4 chicken thighs, skin removed
¾ cup flour
1 egg
2 TBSP water
1 cup panko crumbs
½ pkg taco seasoning


Spread flour on one plate. Beat egg with water in a flat bowl. Mix taco seasoning with panko in another plate. Dredge each piece of chicken in the flour, then dip in egg to coat and finally coat the chicken completely with the panko. Place on a rack over a baking sheet with sides that you have lined with aluminum foil. Do not allow the pieces of chicken to touch. Bake at 400 deg about 20 to 25 minutes or until the juices run clear when the chicken is pierced. Allow to stand about 10 minutes before serving.
